Help, medicial malpratice, need advice!!!!!?

This is it. I have been out of surgery for 1 year and 2 months. Reconstructive rhinoplasty along with cosmetic alteration of the top on the nose... 3 months ago I began complaning about an object in my nose. The dr looks and I have to point it out. He left the stint in my nose, whihc apparently was suppose to come out at the first post op appt, (2 weeks after the surgery). It was left in for 8 months. Cause many infections and some pain. The dr asked, verbatim " Let's keep this between you and me". He then proceeded to give me a free ($3000) treatment, filler(artificial cartiliage) to smooth out my nose. The nurse and he were making me feel like a kid in the candy store.. However as of right now I feel like I was robbed. My nose is causing pain at random moments through the day and the left side of my facial area feels starnage, a numb feeling. I saw the plastic surgeon today, I asked him if it could be possible he left anything else in my nose or forgot about something. He said no... He actaully forgot he left the stint in for so long all together. At one point during our ocnversation he stated, "What your only 8 weeks out" this was today. 1 yeard and 2 months post surgery. I am very scared and truly feel lost. I feel abused and worried. What can I do? My mom and brother seem to not care. My dad is a attorney but refuses to give me any advice, since we don't have much of a relationship. This is very painful. Not because of the physicial pain, but because I don't know what going on, I don't know what going to happen.. I also asked for a copy of medicial records, nurse said I cant have it, then said ok. But i cant have his notes. Then she finally gave an ok to the notes after a small battle. She ended the conversation with, the charge will with 1$ per page... Can someone Please help me.. I live in south Florida, Ft.Lauderdale. Can someone please throw me a bit of advice.. I am freaking out. The dr today said he doesn't know what the numbness if from. I AM SCARED. Left portion of my nose feels like it is going to just slip off my face!! Please advice, real advice!!!!!!
