How can I get my new dog to stop pooping on the floor in the middle of the night?

You need to buy a kennel (crate) for at night when your sleeping, that way when you get up in the morning you can take the dog directly outside to do her business. My dog knows that night-night means time to kennel for bed, when she was a puppy she whined about it for the first week, thank god for electric fans in the bedroom, can't hear a thing, it works though, and it helps housebreak the dog.
