Second guitar...Strat or Tele? i got 1k to spend fyi...?

So as of right now i play my brother's old squire strat so that was like 90 bucks, but I'm lookin to buy my own guitar soon and i can't decide if i want a tele or a strat, but i definately want a fender. I play a lot of rock, like ac/dc, led zeppelin, the who, but i also play like grungy stuff like nirvana, green day, soundgarden, and crap like that. lots of like 90s stuff, but i love the clics. my spending limits prolly just a bit over 1000 so im lookin for a pretty good guitar. i love the look of both guitars like i like the retro of the tele but i like the strats look too i cant decide. any info on either is appreciated. thanks
